A compressed air prospecting study is a one-day, boots-on-the-ground visit where we evaluate your system “as-is.” We walk through the plant for 4–8 hours, speak with operators and key personnel, gather compressor and dryer nameplate data, and evaluate your system design against standards like ISO 11011, ISO 50001, and OSHA requirements.
A holistic compressed air assessment digs deeper. It starts with a discovery call or site visit to understand your system’s current performance, challenges, and goals. We review existing data (or determine what data needs to be collected) and bring in experts across supply, demand, distribution, storage, leaks, and pneumatics. Depending on your needs, we can also add vacuum, cooling water, or heat recovery experts.
Our prospecting study costs $3,000 per day. You'll receive a clear, actionable report identifying high-impact opportunities and recommended next steps.
A prospecting study usually takes 1 day, but can take up to 2–3 days for larger sites.
A holistic compressed air assessment can take 1–2 weeks, depending on plant size, system complexity, and number of compressor rooms.
A holistic assessment typically ranges from $20,000 to $60,000 depending on your plant's location, equipment, size, and complexity. We involve 4 to 10 experts, either on-site or remotely, and go far beyond traditional audits. Our work is peer-reviewed and spans supply, demand, distribution, storage, leaks, and pneumatics.
For a prospecting study, our main tools are our expertise, our experience, your team, and a strong understanding of applicable regulations.
For a holistic assessment, we bring a full suite of diagnostic tools:
- Insertion-style and clamp-on flow meters
- Pressure and temperature data loggers
- Leak detection equipment
- Pneumatic component analysis tools
Tool selection depends on your goals and challenges.
Absolutely. We encourage an intro call to discuss your system, share examples of our process, and answer any questions.
