4 or 5-day on-site program for Facility Maintenance & Energy Managers
This is a four or five-day, on-site compressed air systems training program designed specifically for facility maintenance teams and energy managers. It combines classroom theory with hands-on work in your plant to build real, practical competence, not just “slide deck knowledge.”
Over the week, your team will learn the fundamentals of compressed air, work directly on your own compressors and dryers, review electrical safety and troubleshooting, and map out your entire compressed air system from supply to point-of-use.
The agenda is structured by day (fundamentals, electrical, dryers & auxiliaries, system design & optimization, and system wrap-up), but we keep it flexible so we can follow the questions, issues, and real-world problems that matter most in your facility. We also incorporate site-specific topics you want covered.
What we do
During the 5 days, we:
Build foundational understanding
We explain how compressed air is generated, conditioned, distributed, and used, and cover key safety practices for all major system components.
Teach your equipment, not generic examples
We deep-dive into your compressor technologies, map out how they work with key components, failure modes, and PM tasks, and conduct walkthroughs and hands-on inspections on your machines.
Strengthen electrical and safety skills
We review electrical safety and lockout/tagout, identify key electrical components and their impact on compressor reliability, and practice measuring motor loads and diagnosing common faults.
Demystify dryers and air quality
We explain moisture, dew point, and ISO 8573-1 air quality classes, cover dryers and key treatment components, and link air quality directly to product quality, reliability, and energy use.
Map and optimize your system
We map your plant’s compressed air system with the group, discuss layout, pipe sizing, pressure zones and critical processes, and review leak impacts, control strategies, energy costs, and reliability–efficiency trade-offs.
Apply knowledge through exercises & troubleshooting
We run a full-load compressor test and review the data, work through real troubleshooting scenarios, and refine your PM routines into clear “Do’s and Don’ts” for future service work.
