System Supply & Demand Mapping

Get the drawings and documentation your plant actually runs on.

When compressed air systems are upgraded over time, the physical reality on the floor often drifts away from what’s on paper. Outdated P&IDs and missing CAD layouts make troubleshooting slow, expansions risky, and reliability projects guesswork. Our Supply & Demand Mapping service rebuilds that documentation, so operations, maintenance, and engineering are all working from the same, accurate picture.

This compressed air system mapping service delivers updated as-built compressed air P&IDs and CAD drawings, giving you a single source of truth for your compressed air distribution system.

What we do

We perform a structured onsite walkdown of your compressed air system—from the compressor room through the main distribution headers to the machine isolation valves—and translate what we find into clean, up-to-date drawings and documentation.

During the project we typically:

  • Map the complete supply side: compressors, dryers, filters, receivers, valves, sensors, and control connections
  • Trace the main distribution lines and drops out into the plant up to each machine’s isolation valve
  • Verify and correct pipe sizes, flow paths, and connections versus existing drawings
  • Capture missing details and notes directly from plant personnel
  • Deliver updated P&IDs and CAD layouts in both PDF and native file formats

The result: one reliable source of truth for your compressed air system.

Key Deliverables

01.

Updated supply-side P&IDs

Fresh P&ID diagrams of your compressor room showing compressors, dryers, filters, receivers, valves, sensors, and control logic connections in their actual, as-built configuration.

02.

Demand-side distribution maps

Clear documentation of the main distribution headers and branches, including pipe sizes, routes, and drops—up to the machine isolation valves so you can see how air reaches production.

03.

CAD layout drawings (DWG/DXF + PDF)

Clean CAD system layouts (DWG/DXF) plus PDFs showing piping routes, elevations where applicable, and equipment locations, ready for use by engineering, contractors, and future projects.

04.

System boundary and scope definition

A clearly defined map of what is inside the documented scope (e.g., plant boundaries, included areas, and endpoints at isolation valves), removing ambiguity when planning changes or troubleshooting.

05.

Consolidated documentation package

A structured digital handover that groups all P&IDs, CAD files, notes, and references in an organized format, so your team isn’t hunting through email chains and old folders.

06.

Executive summary & next-step recommendations

A short summary that highlights key observations (gaps, risks, opportunities) and suggests practical next steps, such as where to add instrumentation, isolation, or redundancy, so you can immediately act on the new documentation.

More Minds. Better Results.
